72-Inch Trailer Fender Flat Pattern – Digital Cut File
72-Inch Trailer Fender Flat Pattern – Digital Cut File
Cut and build your own trailer fenders with this two-piece flat-pattern design for CNC plasma cutting. Each fender uses two different pieces, labeled Side 1 and Side 2, that join and weld together at the center. Integrated bend reliefs make the sections easier to form by hand or with simple hand tools, while the split design accommodates smaller cutting tables than a full-length, one-piece pattern.
Digital cutting files only. No steel, physical kit, or finished fenders are included.
Included files
- DXF cutting pattern for Side 1.
- DXF cutting pattern for Side 2.
Check that your cutting software supports DXF imports, and verify imported dimensions and scale before cutting.
Flat pattern dimensions
Flat pattern: 45.75 inches × 23.75 inches. Check these dimensions against your machine's usable cutting area before cutting.
Finished fender dimensions
- Each assembled fender: 72 inches wide × 14 inches tall × 8.875 inches deep.
- Designed around 11-gauge diamond floor plate.
Pieces to cut
- For one complete fender: cut one Side 1 and one Side 2.
- For a pair of fenders: cut two Side 1 pieces and two Side 2 pieces, four pieces total.
- Side 1 and Side 2 are different patterns, not interchangeable identical halves. These labels identify the two sections of each fender, not the driver-side and passenger-side fenders.
Manual bending design
All bend lines are designed for manual bending. Integrated relief slots make the bends easier to form using leverage from basic hand tools.
Cut, bend, and assemble
The buyer supplies the material and performs all cutting, bending, welding, and installation. Form the sections along the relief-cut bend lines, then join and weld Side 1 to Side 2 at the center to complete each fender. Bend-relief openings can be welded closed or left open for the desired finish; this is not a weld-free assembly.
Confirm trailer fitment, tire clearance, and mounting arrangements before fabrication. Check each flat pattern's dimensions against your machine's usable cutting area before cutting. The images show the assembled design and a flat section for reference, not physical items included with this purchase.
